As a Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

• To direct, manage and support the development, implementation, maintenance and administration if all financial controls and accounting procedures, based upon a maximization of internal control techniques consistent with Group corporate management established policy and generally accepted accounting principles, as adapted to the requirements of the hotel’s management contract and other local legal requirements. 
• To play an active role in the management of the Hotel and Residence, and to exercise a responsive attitude to the needs of the General Manager and other members of the hotel management team. 
• To ensure compliance to the terms and conditions of the Hotel or Residence’s management contract and highlight any discrepancies to the General Manager and group corporate management. 
• To actively involved in the search for opportunities to improve the profitability of the Hotel and the Residence’s and encourage the preparation of exception reports and analyses to help meet and measure the success of this objective. 
• To manage, supervise and support all colleagues, with a view to optimizing the profitability of the Hotel and Residence and improving the guest experience.
• To initiate colleague development and evaluation programs for all colleagues to ensure the highest level of professional competence and efficient continuity within those positions. 
• To develop and maintain an efficient treasury function that effectively manages the Hotel and the Residence’s working capital and cash flow in compliance with Group corporate minimum standards and the management contract, while optimizing receivables and inventory levels and safeguarding sufficient liquidity. 
• To be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the Hotel and the Residence computerized data processing function within the Group corporate management established guidelines. 
• To ensure all financial reports, budgets, forecasts and other information required by Group corporate management are accurately compiled and submitted within the specified time limits, identifying variances and making recommendations for improvements as appropriate. 
• Ensure that the information and information security equipment assets under your control are secured as effectively as possible to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information assets.

As a Director of Finance, we expect from you: 

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred. 
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent is strongly preferred. 
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles at a 5-Star luxury hotel in Asia. 
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
