Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok within the Sales Department.
As Director of Wedding, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Proactively analyze and communicate business trends and booking pace to revenue team in comparison to the market, last year, forecast and budget.
Fully aware of any wedding/bridal industry trends, along with cultural wedding elements and establish good business and social relationships with the wedding/bridal industry and participate in activities related to public relations to further increase wedding leads for the department as well as the hotel.
To be accountable and responsible in line with the hotel’s sales strategy for maximizing revenue and achieving the yearly targets/budget expectations.
Maximise yield of the available function facilities by focusing on filling low demand periods and up selling high demand dates and by securing business beyond the current and budget year.
As Director of Wedding, we expect from you:
Bachelor’s degree in hotel management or relevant.
Thai speaking with minimum 5-7 years work experience in Sales & Marketing Department, particularly in wedding segmentation.
Proficiency in English and in computer skills.
Possess good leadership skills with business acumen competency.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
