The Role

The E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for building and executing Mandarin Oriental Makati’s online presence and digital marketing strategy during the pre-opening phase and beyond. This role ensures the hotel establishes a strong digital footprint, drives direct bookings, and builds brand awareness across digital channels. The position requires a balance of strategic vision, technical expertise, and creative execution to deliver measurable commercial results.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the hotel’s e-commerce and digital marketing strategy aligned with Mandarin Oriental brand standards.
  • Manage online distribution channels, including the hotel website, OTA platforms, and brand.com.
  • Oversee website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and SEO optimization.
  • Create and manage digital campaigns across social media, email, and paid media channels.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to maximize ROI.
  • Establish digital marketing infrastructure during pre-opening, including social media accounts, email platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Coordinate with PR, Sales, and Revenue Management teams to ensure integrated commercial efforts.
  • Manage relationships with digital agencies, vendors, and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and brand guidelines.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing and e-commerce, preferably within luxury hospitality.
  • Proven track record of managing successful digital campaigns and driving online revenue.
  • Familiarity with the Philippine market and regional digital landscape is an advantage.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, SEO/SEM platforms).
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce strategies, OTA management, and conversion optimization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to strategy.
  • Creative approach with attention to detail and brand alignment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
  • Effective team player with cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong vendor and agency management capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
