EVENTS SALES MANAGER, SALES & MARKETING

Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London is situated on Hanover Square, Mayfair’s oldest square recently re-born, the hotel will provide a calming, discreet sanctuary for hotel guests, while delivering a contemporary and vibrant atmosphere in the public spaces. 

As Events Sales Manager you willresponsiblefor the following duties:

  • Client & Booking Management
    Proactively manage bookings from diverse client groups including associations and VIPs; handle all event and small group inquiries; ensure timely responses and follow-ups to maximize conversion and client satisfaction.
  • Sales Collaboration & Revenue Optimization
    Work closely with Sales teams to build key account relationships, manage events spaces effectively, follow pricing strategies, and explore up-selling opportunities to maximize hotel revenue.
  • Event Planning & Execution
    Coordinate all event details including site inspections, Banquet Event Orders, rooming lists, pre-event meetings, and handovers to operations; ensure flawless execution through consistent communication and attention to detail.
  • Administration & System Accuracy
    Maintain up-to-date and accurate records sales and PMS systems; ensure all contracts, payments, cancellations, and reporting duties are completed according to standards and deadlines.

To be a successful Events Sales Manager candidate, you will have a proven track-record in an Event Sales role, reactive and pro-active, within the luxury hospitality industry. You are a passionate about luxury experience, build excellent rapport with clients, are detail oriented and diligent, whilst being able to adapt and deal with changing priorities.
