About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Housekeeping Department in Paris, the room attendant mission is to clean and maintain the guest rooms assigned to the room attendant daily. To guarantee highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene and the highest quality regarding Mandarin Oriental Standards. To maintain all areas of the hotel free of garbage, dirt, or any debris.

As room attendant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Replace used amenities and ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms to the appropriate departments.
  • Ensure all guest requests are promptly attended to and meet or exceed expectations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and hotel staff.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Assist in providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for guests during their stay.

As room attendant, we expect from you: 

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in a hospitality setting.
  • Ability to handle guest requests and complaints in a courteous and effective manner.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service.
