Duties and responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate self-confidence and a high level of commitment when in service 

  • Have a correct and conscious behavior with regards to guests, colleagues and the resort's property, reporting every suspicious circumstance to management 

  • Provide excellent service at all times 

  • Ensure that reservations are handled in a friendly and professional manner 

  • Assist guests courteously and efficiently 

  • Set up tables as per the standard 

  • Collect and update guests’ database 

  • Organize the menus for each service and ensure that they are cleaned and in good condition, also checking the menus’ stock level 

  • Present menus and wine lists, also assisting during service 

  • Collect daily newspapers and set them up accordingly 

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-years experience in a similar position, preferably within the luxury environment 

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Italian 

  • High standard of verbal communication, social skills and up-selling skills 

  • Flexible and willing to work on evenings/weekends/holidays 

  • Able to handle multiple tasks at once
