About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Information Technology Department. Information Technology Manager is responsible for ensuring that the hotel computer system(s) are installed and operating properly, that system security measures are in place, that the computer hardware is well maintained, that the system(s) are utilized to their maximum potential, and that new systems are installed to improve hotel efficiency and profitability, and adhere to hotel and MOHG standards and guidelines. 

As Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To ensure that all computer technology equipment runs with minimum or no down time.

• To ensure that all software runs with no output errors, no response time problems and according to specifications.

• To solve technical or operational problems as reported by the users.

• To do the hardware maintenance on PC equipment.

• To monitor all computer technology contracts and supervise the activities of outside maintenance personnel when they come to the hotel.

• To learn the application packages and implement into the system.

As Information Technology Manager, we expect from you: 

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity.

• Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.

• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
