Mandarin Oriental’s Hong Kong Corporate Office plays a central role in supporting our global operations and driving excellence across all People & Culture initiatives. We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented intern to join our team on a 6‑month contract, with the option to extend based on KPI performance.

About the Job

Based in the People & Culture Department at the Hong Kong Corporate Office, the Intern, People & Culture will support a wide range of P&C administrative, reporting, and coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, fast‑paced, diligent, and capable of working under pressure in a dynamic environment.

The Intern reports to the EA to CPCO.

As Intern, People & Culture, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with P&C data management, reporting, and analysis, including Excel tasks such as pivot tables, formulas, and basic data cleaning.

  • Preparing, verifying, and tracking expense claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

  • Supporting travel coordination, including booking flights, accommodation, and handling logistics.

  • Providing administrative support and assisting with ad‑hoc tasks and projects as required.

As Intern, People & Culture, we expect from you:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline (Finance background preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail, diligence, and an ability to work effectively under tight timelines.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data.

  • Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese (written and spoken).

  • A proactive, fast learner with a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support cross‑functional work.
