Mandarin Oriental Hangzhou is scheduled to open in early 2027 within the Westlake 66 luxury mixed‑use development in Hangzhou. The hotel will be located near West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with convenient access to the city’s primary business districts.

The hotel will feature 194 guestrooms and suites, along with a comprehensive range of facilities, including:

• Four restaurants and bars
• Extensive spa and wellness facilities featuring Mandarin Oriental’s signature therapies
• A fitness centre and an indoor swimming pool
• Meeting and event spaces suitable for both business and social gatherings

Mandarin Oriental Hangzhou will bring the Group’s legendary service to one of China’s most culturally significant cities, offering an elevated experience for both leisure and business travellers.

Language Skills

Proficiency in Mandarin and English is preferred, though colleagues with additional language skills are welcome.

Internal Transfer Criteria

Colleagues applying must meet the following criteria:

• Levels 6–8: Minimum 12 months in current role
• Levels 3–5: Minimum 18 months in current role
• Levels 1–2: Minimum 24 months in current role
• Performance rating: “Meets Expectations” or above
• Disciplinary record: No corrective action plan or written warnings in the past 12 months
• Eligibility: Must meet visa and local regulatory requirements for the position
