About the Job

Based at the Corporate Office in Hong Kong, the BI Solutions Lead is responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of business intelligence solutions that empower data‑driven decision‑making across our global luxury hotel portfolio.


The role ensures that executives, hotel leadership, and operational teams have timely, accurate, and actionable insights that enhance guest experience, optimise operations, and maximise profitability. The position reports to the VP of Data Analytics & AI.

As BI Solutions Lead, you will be responsible for the following:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the Group’s BI strategy in alignment with digital transformation and growth objectives.

  • Partner with senior leadership to identify key metrics, reporting needs, and analytics opportunities across guest services, marketing, operations, finance, and sustainability.

  • Serve as the subject‑matter expert on BI platforms, data visualisation best practices, and analytics trends in the hospitality industry.

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of BI dashboards, reports, and self‑service analytics tools for global stakeholders.

  • Oversee integration of BI platforms with hotel management systems including PMS, CRM, POS, booking engines, and other key operational systems.

  • Ensure BI solutions are scalable, user‑friendly, and tailored for both corporate and property‑level teams.

Data Management & Governance

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across all sources.

  • Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with GDPR, PIPL, and other relevant regulations.

  • Maintain a single source of truth for key business metrics.

Performance & Insights

  • Deliver actionable insights that drive guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.

  • Implement advanced analytics capabilities such as predictive modelling and trend analysis to support strategic decision‑making.

  • Monitor BI system performance and continuously optimise BI assets for speed, accuracy, and usability.

Collaboration & Training

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams — IT, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Guest Experience — to ensure BI solutions align with business needs.

  • Provide training, support, and adoption enablement for end‑users to maximise the value of BI tools.

  • Manage relationships with BI vendors, external partners, and technology providers.

As BI Solutions Lead, we expect from you:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in BI solution design and delivery, preferably in hospitality, travel, or luxury retail.

  • Proven track record implementing enterprise‑scale BI platforms and analytics solutions.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker).

  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, etc.).

  • Understanding of ETL processes, data modelling, and API integrations.

  • Knowledge of hospitality systems and KPIs highly desirable.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

  • Strong capability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Leadership and project‑management skills.

  • Passion for luxury hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences through data.
