Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Public Relations Department in Hong Kong, the Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for the Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for enhancing brand visibility, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering impactful campaigns and experiences that align with the company’s strategic objectives and values. The Marketing Communications Manager reports to the Director of Marketing Communications.
As Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Public Relations & Communications
Develop and execute PR strategies to strengthen brand awareness and reputation
Manage relationships with media, editors, influencers, and key opinion leaders
Prepare press releases, media kits, talking points, and brand narratives
Coordinate media coverage, interviews, and press events; track and report on PR performance
Handle crisis communications in collaboration with senior management when required
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Develop and manage CSR initiatives aligned with brand values and community needs
Partner with NGOs, charities, and community organizations to deliver meaningful programs
Oversee internal and external communication of CSR initiatives to maximize impact and engagement
Measure, document, and report CSR outcomes and stakeholder impact
Event & Partnerships Management
Plan, manage, and execute marketing, PR, and CSR-related events (e.g. launches, press events, VIP experiences, community activities)
Manage end-to-end event logistics including budgets, vendors, venues, timelines, and guest lists
Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure brand-aligned execution
Evaluate event performance and provide post-event reporting and insights
Brand & Stakeholder Management
Ensure all PR, CSR, and event activities are aligned with brand guidelines and messaging
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including commercial, operations, and global brand teams
Manage external agencies and suppliers to ensure quality, consistency, and cost efficiency
As Marketing Communications Manager, we expect from you:
Degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline
Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience and at least 2 years in managerial level or of similar capacity, preferably in luxury hotel
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
Good business acumen with analytical mind in developing and implementing communication strategies
Strong background in brand positioning, storytelling, and developing partnerships
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for luxury brands.
Experienced with digital content, social media, and CRM strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of colleagues and guests
