Scope of Position

Assist in the coordination of all maintenance & repairs of the facilities and equipment. Responsible for the day-to-day operations within the property maintenance department ensuring plant and equipment operate with the least amount of down time. Maintain the complex facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.

Departmental

• Maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.
• Comply with all Fire, Life, Health, and Safety Standards.
• To be conversant with the Hotel Emergency Procedures.
• Perform Emergency Response Team duties as required.
• Personal presentations will always be clean, neat, and tidy.
• Be courteous, and professional when dealing with Guest, and fellow Staff
• Members.
• Assist Guests, Patrons, and Fellow Staff Members as and when appropriate.
• Undertake specific duties and projects when assigned.
• Activity support Training Programs.
• To carry out work in accordance with The Hotel Planned Maintenance Program.
• Familiarize himself with the technical details of all Plant and Services relating to the Hotel.
• Work shifts as designated.
• Maintain, repair, check and record equipment relating to: -
• Guest Facilities
• Public area and heart of the house facilities
• Plant Rooms
• Air Conditioning Equipment
• Refrigeration Equipment
• Fire, Life, Health, and Safety
• Electrical and Mechanical Services
• Plumbing and Heating
• Entertainment Equipment
• Kitchens
• Lighting
• Furniture, Fittings and General Equipment
• Actively supervise and support the Shift Technician.
• Ensure all logbooks and records are kept up to date.
• Assist Engineering personnel with technical advice and ensure standards are maintained.
• Deputize for ADOE/ACE in their absence.
• Actively assist with Energy Conservation and Control.
• Responsible for all the repair and maintenance of equipment’s ensuring smooth operation.
• Monitor and control all the utilities and documentation.
• Preparing daily HLP report and monthly utility reports
