About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Sanya within the Front Office Department in Sanya, the PABX Operator is responsible for for answering calls from guests both inside and outside the hotel and providing guest services in accordance with the Group's standards. The hotel operator is primarily responsible for answering calls from guests both inside and outside the hotel and providing guest services in accordance with the Group's standards. The PABX Operator reports to the Manager.

As PABX Operator, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Receive all incoming calls in a courteous and friendly manner, responsible for accurate connection
  • Responsible for handle guest request efficiently
  • Responsible for paging of hotel personnel correctly
  • Have thorough knowledge of and assists guests and callers with the hotels Voice Mail system.
  • Report fault promptly.
  • Promote the hotel and MOHG products and services
  • Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisors
