About the job
Based at the Emirates palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Butler Department, the Palace Butler is responsible for providing personalized services to hotel guests such as the wakeup call, newspaper delivery, and shoeshine, in a friendly and caring manner according to policies and procedures and Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental standards. The Palace Butler reports to the Palace Operations Manager.
As aPalace Butler, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Delivered personalized guest services, ensuring a memorable and seamless stay experience
Coordinate VIP amenities, including daily fruit basket arrangements and personalized welcomes
Escort guests to rooms, introduce hotel facilities, and provide ongoing assistance
Manage luggage handling with Concierge to guarantee safe and timely delivery
Handle guest check-ins/outs efficiently while maintaining service excellence
Provided personalized wake-up calls, shoe shining, packing/unpacking, and laundry assistance
Maintained up-to-date knowledge of hotel promotions, VIP arrivals, and events to anticipate guest needs
Respond promptly to guest requests and resolved issues with professionalism
As a Palace Butler, we expect from you:
Previous experience in the same role in a luxury hotel is preferred, resort experience will be a plus
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
Professional and well-groomed appearance
Proficiency in additional languages will be considered an asset
Excellent communication skills
