About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within People & Culture Department in Hong Kong, the People & Culture Assistant supports the administration and implementation of compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures accurate payroll processing, effective benefits administration, and compliance with company policies and local regulations, while providing timely support to colleagues on related inquiries. The People & Culture Assistant reports to the Assistant Director of People & Culture.
As People & Culture Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
• Support in managing the comprehensive range of Compensation and Benefits functions, encompassing payroll processing, retirement plans, health insurance programs, tax compliance, and leave & attendance administration.
• Help coordinate colleague benefits enrolment, inquiries, and claims processing.
• To maintain accurate colleague record in HRIS system and filing system
• Assist in final payment preparation and work injury cases administration
• Collaborate with payroll and HR teams to ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Prepare reports and respond to colleagues enquires related to compensation and benefits.
• Provide administrative support for related HR projects and initiatives.
