About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the People & Culture Department, the People & Culture Coordinator - Talent Acquisition is responsible for managing recruitment activities, supporting daily People & Culture operations, attending recruitment events, and driving colleague engagement initiatives.

As People & Culture Coordinator - Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Manage daily People & Culture operations with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Lead the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening and interviewing.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Represent the company at recruitment events, career fairs, and hospitality school recruitment days to attract top talent.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitality schools, universities, and industry networks.
• Drive colleague engagement initiatives and support activities that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
• Organize and coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and wellbeing initiatives to enhance the colleague experience.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate and employee experience throughout the entire employment lifecycle.
• Support HR administration, employee relations, and various People & Culture projects.

As People & Culture Coordinator - Talent Acquisition, we expect from you:·        

• Completed Swiss Commercial Apprenticeship (Kaufmännische Lehre EFZ) and/or a degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, Human Resources, or People & Culture, ideally within luxury hospitality.
• Strong interest in talent attraction, employer branding, and colleague engagement.
• Confident in representing the company at hospitality schools, career fairs, and recruitment events.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive, service-oriented, and passionate about creating exceptional candidate and colleague experiences.
• Excellent in English and German; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Workday is beneficial.
• Successful applicants must have the right to work in Switzerland.
