About the Job 

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, the Housekeeping Porter reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper. 

As a Housekeeping Porter, you will be responsible for:

• Descend the laundry bags (bed linen) and carts with dirty clothes to the laundry room.
• Bring separately to the laundry room the linen for baby coats, mattress protectors, duvets, bedspreads, curtains, and sheer.
• Organize storage areas and keep them clean and orderly in accordance with procedures.
• Replenish housekeeping pantries with guest amenities.
  Check and clean vacuum cleaners.
• Maintain the pantries always clean.

As Housekeeping Porter we expect from you: 

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Porter in a 5-star establishment.
• Team spirit, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow.
• Good communication skills and a flexible attitude.
• Valid Swiss work permit or European passport.  
• Language skills:
  French – Spoken: Very good, Written: Very good
  English – Spoken: Good, Written: Good
