About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Marketing department in Dubai, the PR & Communications Manager is responsible to support the Director of Marketing & Communications with the development and implementation of a sound PR, Communications and Social Media strategy that complements the strategic positioning of the hotel. PR & Communications Manager reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications.

As a PR & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead the hotel’s full PR & Communications strategy, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and business objectives.

• Manage year‑round communication activities, producing consistent, high‑quality PR materials and maintaining updated multilingual press kits.

• Build and sustain strong relationships with media, influencers, and KOLs while overseeing all media inquiries, interviews, filming requests, and content supervision.

• Plan and execute PR events, photoshoots, media visits, and partnership or sponsorship opportunities that support brand visibility.

• Monitor, analyse, and report PR coverage, conducting post‑project evaluations to capture insights and strengthen future initiatives.

• Oversee agency relationships and lead the MarCom team, including coordinators and interns, ensuring consistency across all communication tools and brand messaging.

As a PR & Communications Manager, we expect from you: 

• Proven ability to communicate confidently, build strong media relationships, and creatively pitch stories in a dynamic media environment.

• Innovative, strategic thinker with strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills, and the ability to introduce and execute new ideas.

• Poised, polished, and well‑versed in luxury brand representation.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Media, Journalism, or Marketing.

• Minimum 5 years of PR or communications experience within hospitality or luxury sectors.

• Fluent English speaker (Arabic preferred), with strong teamwork, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
