About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich the Reservations Agent is responsible processing and advising all guest reservations. The Reservations Agent reports to the Reservations Manager.

As Reservations Agent, you will responsible for the following duties:

• Efficient and careful handling of telephone reservations and all inquiries
• Comprehensive and familiar knowledge of all room rates, room categories, the entire hotel product and competitors in the market
• Supporting the Reservations Manager and Revenue Manager
• Handling the daily correspondence of our international guests via e-mail and telephone
• Compliance with MOHG standards, hotel credit and cancellation policy

As Reservations Agent, we expect from you:

• A strong focus on our international guests
• Completed training in the hotel industry desirable
• Experience in reservations in the luxury hotel industry is an advantage
• A charming and convincing appearance
• Excellent language skills in German and English
• Charming and friendly appearance
• Discretion and loyalty
