About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Commercial Strategy Department in Dubai, the Sales Executive is responsible to work closely with the Director of Commerce and sales team to drive business to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly targets. Sales Executive reports to Sales Manager.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Maintains and grows assigned accounts through various sales activities (calls, site visits, entertainment).
  • Executes sales plans and strategies to achieve and exceed set targets.
  • Monitors market trends, competitor activities, and identifies opportunities and threats.
  • Builds strong client relationships and promotes brand through cross-selling and customer service.
  • Ensures accurate record-keeping, timely response to requests, and system updates.
  • Participates in meetings, team collaboration, and client entertainment as required.

As a Sales Executive, we expect from you: 

  • Holds a degree or diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management.
  • Has at least 2 years of sales experience in a 5-star hotel, preferably with GCC exposure.
  • Skilled in representing hotels at trade shows and sales missions.
  • Proficient in computer applications and tech-savvy.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Adaptable, organized, self-motivated, and committed to excellent customer service.
