About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, within the Sales Department in Madrid, the Sales Manager is responsible for driving overall hotel sales within the assigned territory, maximizing revenue through proactive business development and effective account management of new and existing clients.
The Sales Manager reports to the Area Director Commercial Strategy.

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue from assigned markets and territories.
  • Proactively source, negotiate and manage accounts within transient and group market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, luxury partners, corporate clients and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity and revenue performance to identify growth opportunities.

As Sales Manager, we expect from you:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sales Manager, with at least 3 years within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge and presence within the luxury travel and hospitality market.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets with a proactive, strategic and results-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; additional languages are an advantage.
