SALES MANAGER – MIDDLE EAST

39 hours, 5 days per week

We’re looking for a Sales Manager – Middle East to join our Sales & Marketing team.

As a Sales Manager – Middle East at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:

  • To meet and entertain all influential clients and ensure there is follow-up on all discussed details. 
  • To organize and delivers familiarization site inspection trips of the hotel by major clients. 
  • To work closely with key contacts and look for new business in order to meet financial targets set in the annual sales plan. 
  • To attend local and overseas trade shows, hotel and tourist association meetings to identify market opportunities for the hotel. 
  • To plan and where appropriate, execute sales trips to key existing market areas and identifies new potential market areas. 
  • Assists in the formulation and implementation of sales & marketing strategies for maximising room revenues in the Middle Eastern market. 
  • To evaluate and respond to all enquiries from assigned territory / accounts received by telephone, fax, email or other channel, residential and non-residential, to departmental standards.   
  • To work with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Regional Sales Offices and third party organisations in assigned territories, to maximise sales opportunities. 
  • To promote other Mandarin Oriental properties whenever possible and effectively distribute sales leads. 
  • To attend weekly departmental sales meeting. 
  • To monitor sales activities of market competitors, build effective relationships and report at sales meetings. 

To be a successful Sales Manager – Middle East, you will have a proven track-record in the Middle East segment within the luxury hospitality industry. You are a passionate about luxury experience, build excellent rapport with clients, are detail oriented and diligent, whilst being able to adapt and deal with changing priorities.
