About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Corporate Office within the Feasibility department in Hong Kong, the Senior Analyst, Strategic Planning & Analytics (6-Month Contract) is responsible for supporting strategic business evaluations, financial analysis, project performance monitoring and executive reporting across a range of development, conversion, takeover and corporate initiatives. The position reports to the Vice President of Global Feasibility.

As a Senior Analyst, Strategic Planning & Analytics (6-Month Contract), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Support the evaluation of hotel opportunities, conversions, takeovers and other strategic initiatives.
• Develop financial models, business cases, forecasts and investment evaluation analyses.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence activities and consolidate findings to support management decision-making.
• Monitor project performance against approved business cases and analyse variances against expectations.
• Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards and analytical materials for senior management and executive audiences.
• Conduct market, industry and competitor research to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Maintain project tracking tools, analytical databases and reporting frameworks.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and technologies to enhance research, analysis, reporting and process efficiency.

As Senior Analyst, Strategic Planning & Analytics (6-Month Contract), we expect from you:

You will bring a strong analytical mindset, financial modelling capability and commercial curiosity, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable business insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in hospitality consulting, corporate strategy, business analytics, finance, development or a related field.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, Excel, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese.
