As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

• Communication of local requirements, food sanitation laws, safety regulations and other to her/her colleagues. 
• Assign specific duties to each staffs, instruct and keep coaching them at all time throughout the production and ensure that all standards are met and kept according to recipe presentation and portion size.
• Check on quality on the product and consistency at all the time to meet standard.
• Coach and inform his staff on any new menu, new method, and special events and follow up on any problem or situation that needs improvement.
• In the absence of Chef de Cuisine, takes over and fully in charge of the department at any time required.
• To comply with all safety and security regulation.
• Strictly adhere to all Policy & Procedure existing in the hotel.
• To carry out quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly inventory of operating equipment. 
• To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

As a Sous Chef, we expect from you: 

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Culinary/Hospitality/Hotel is preferred. 
• A minimum of 8 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment/Italian Restaurant.
