Als Storekeeper sind Sie für die folgenden Aufgaben verantwortlich:

• Unterstützung des Purchasing Managers

• Verwalter des Lager, des Bestands und der Verteilung von Materialien, Vorräten, Teilen, Komponenten und Werkzeugen.

• Erfassung aller Transaktionen

• Sicherstellen, dass alle eingegangenen Waren ordnungsgemäß bestellt wurden und in der richtigen Menge und mit der richtigen Dokumentation eingegangen sind.

• Durchführung von Qualitätskontrollen bei allen eingegangenen Lagerbeständen.

• Nachverfolgung von Bestellungen, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Waren zum versprochenen Termin versandt und geliefert werden

• Organisation der Lager, Kontrolle der Waren und Verhinderung von Verlusten durch Diebstahl und Verderb sowie Sicherstellung, dass die Lager in einem hygienischen Zustand gehalten werden

• Sicherstellen, dass die Schloss- und Schlüsselkontrolle streng kontrolliert wird und die Waren nur an autorisiertes Personal ausgegeben werden, wie von der Geschäftsleitung genehmigt

• Sicherstellen, dass alle Bestände auf dem Nennwert gehalten werden.

• Die Lagerbestände täglich zu überprüfen und bei Bedarf Nachschub anzufordern.

Als Storekeeper erwarten wir von Ihnen:

• Berufserfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Position in der gehobenen Hotellerie

• Ausgezeichnete Kenntnisse verschiedener PMS-, POS-, Einkaufs-, Buchhaltungs- und Berichtssysteme (vorzugsweise Springer Miller System, Infogenesis, Moreton Bay, Oasys, SUN System und Hyperion Planning) 

• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Microsoft Office - insbesondere Excel

• Ausgeprägte Organisations- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, Teamfähigkeit

• Gute schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch und Deutsch

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern, within the Purchasing department, the Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods and supplies. The Storekeeper ensures accurate inventory management and supports the overall purchasing operations of the hotel. The Storekeeper reports to the Purchasing Manager.

As Storekeeper, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Keeper of the stores, inventory, and distribution of materials, supplies, parts, components, and tools.

• To record all transactions and maintain related records

• To ensure that all goods received have been properly ordered and the correct quantities have been received, together with the correct documentation.

• To perform quality checks on all store inventories that has been received.

• To follow up on orders to ensure all are shipped and delivered on promised dates

• To organize stores, control goods and prevent loss though theft and spoilage and that store are kept in hygienic condition.

• To ensure that the lock and key control are strictly controlled, and goods are only issued to authorized personnel as approved by management
  To ensure that all inventories are kept at the par level stock.

• Inspect the stores daily and request replenishment if necessary

As Storekeeper, we expect from you:

• Experience in a similar position in upscale hospitality

• Excellent knowledge of various PMS, POS, Purchasing, Accounting and Reporting Systems (preferably Springer Miller System, Infogenesis, Moreton Bay, Oasys, SUN System and Hyperion Planning) 

• Strong Level of Proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Excel 

• Strong organizational and communication skills, team player

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and German
