About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Exceptional Experience Centre in Hong Kong, the Telecommunications Officer is responsible for perform the technical operations of the PABX equipment & restaurant reservation system and always delivers quality services to our guests in line with the company standards.  The Telecommunications Officer reports to the Exceptional Experience Manager.

As Telecommunications Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Answer guest enquiries and dining reservations in a professional and efficient manner and offer assistance to guests in different platforms, such as telephone, email or instant messaging
• Work and communicate closely with other departments in replying guests enquiries, dining reservations and ensure accurate information has been shared
• Operate the telephone and food & beverage booking system according to policies & procedures and hotel's standards.

As Telecommunications Officer, we expect from you:

• Diploma graduate in Hospitality or related disciplines
• Minimum 1 year guest services experience in hospitality industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of English and Chinese; Putonghua will be an advantage
• Willing to work shift duty including overnight shift.
