As a Valet Assistant at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:
To consistently achieve the required standards of product and customer care, providing excellent service to our guests in the laundry and valet department.
Ensures the uniform provided is kept clean, presentable and in good condition, ensuring that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and demonstrate a professional image for our guests
To perform duties such as pressing, shoe polishing, repairs, measurements, alterations and operating laundry machines.
To ensure all colleague uniforms are kept in good condition and provide a professional image to our guests at all times.
To report any malfunctioning equipment and maintenance problems by recording all faults in work orders and passing them on to the Laundry & Valet Management.
As a Valet Assistant, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and evening shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
To be a successful Valet Assistant candidate, you will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a luxury environment, excellent attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and most importantly, genuine interest in providing outstanding service to our guests and colleagues.
