About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona within the Housekeeping Department, the Valet is responsible for supporting the housekeeping operation by ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are delivered efficiently across the hotel.

This is a seasonal recurring (fixed-discontinuous) contract, aligned with the hotel’s operational needs.

The Valet reports to the Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Supervisors.

As Valet, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting room attendants by delivering linen, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest floors
• Assisting with the transportation and set-up of extra beds, baby cots, and other guest requests
• Ensuring housekeeping storage areas, offices, and pantries are fully stocked and organized
• Collecting and distributing linen and maintaining stock levels
• Assisting with the removal of dirty linen and waste from guest corridors
• Supporting general housekeeping operations to ensure efficiency and smooth service
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in service areas
• Responding promptly to internal requests from the housekeeping team

As Valet, we expect from you:

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• High level of responsibility, reliability, and organization
• Ability to work in a physically active role
• Positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Basic English knowledge (other languages are a plus)
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is an advantage
