Jan joined Mandarin Oriental in 2011 and his impressive journey from Night Auditor to Director of Learning and Development at Mandarin Oriental, Munich spanned 11 great years. His passion, diligence and leadership have touched the hearts of many Colleagues and guests along the way.

Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou celebrated its tenth anniversary of providing Legendary Service with an Interactive Exhibition by Feng Tan. Joined by artists and Fans of M.O. who have engaged and collaborated with the hotel over the years, the night was a remarkable success.
The hotel is on a mission to inject new vitality into art and culture through an exciting and diverse range of events and exhibitions. With boundless creativity, Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou will bring an array of surprises and promotions to our Fans throughout the year.

Whether it's introducing a bicycle city exploration program in New York, organising community clean-up days in Bangkok, or synergising on-site water bottling efforts with an NGO focused on water hygiene and education in Mozambique and Zambia in Luzern, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is committed to responsibly managing our environmental impacts and social commitments at our hotels across the Globe.
To celebrate Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong's 60th anniversary, an abundance of initiatives have been planned throughout the year to give back to the community and engage with our Fans.
Recently, local secondary school students participated in the 60-Student Hotelier Training Programme, a 4-day interactive programme involving 5 sense-themed learning experiences, 2 NGO partners, and one meaningful goal, to plant the right seeds for future hoteliers through tailored learning opportunities.
Two cohorts completed the training in April, with more to come in June and July.
