About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Reservation Department in Paris, the Reservation Agent is responsible to maintain effective communication on all reservations made to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery

As Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage reservations by telephone, email or internet and carry out all related operations
• Ensure the sale of our rooms and suites by proposing a response adapted to the needs of our clientele
• Optimize room occupancy
• Work in collaboration with other departments (concierge, F&B, revenue management)
• Provide courteous, efficient and personalized service to ensure excellent customer care.

As Reservation Agent, we expect from you: 

• Hotel industry background
• Similar successful experience in reservations in a hotel of the same category
• Organization, rigor, concentration and discretion
• Commercial sense
• Clear voice, courtesy, dynamism
• Interest in Yield Management
• At ease with IT tools
• Excellent written expression in French and English
• Fluent English, third language appreciated
