As Assistant Director of Finance at Mandarin Oriental, Vienna, you will be part of the Finance team and report directly to our Director of Finance.
Support in managing, developing, and implementing financial controls and accounting procedures in line with company standards and applicable regulations
Assist with the analysis and preparation of financial reports to identify opportunities to enhance profitability
Actively support the Accounting Department to ensure smooth and efficient financial processes
Oversee and co-manage the timely preparation of all financial statements, forecasts, analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations
Monitor revenues and expenditures, ensuring accurate posting in line with USALI and internal policies
Support the implementation and monitoring of internal control mechanisms (e.g., procurement, cash handling, inventories, payroll)
Contribute to budgeting, capital planning, and monthly forecasting through detailed analysis and provision of relevant KPIs
Solid professional experience in finance, preferably in hospitality; luxury segment experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills and a structured, solution-oriented work approach
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting (P&L, balance sheets, forecasts, etc.)
Proficiency in handling complex numerical and analytical data
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent MS Excel skills; experience with systems such as Opera/HMS, Sun, Moreton Bay, Hyperion, and Shiji is a plus

The minimum gross monthly salary for this position, as per the collective agreement, is €2,398.00.
We are open to offering a higher salary based on your qualifications and experience.
