About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Front Office Department in Doha, The Guest Relations Agent will meet and exceed guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous Guest Relations service in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences. The Guest Relations Agent will meet, greet and escort all VIP guests and will ensure a smooth arrival and a fond farewell. It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will keep the guest’s perspective in mind at all times and carry out the mission of the Rooms Division. The Guest Relations Agent reports to the Concierge and Guest Relations Manager.

As Guest Relations Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties

• Lead and manage the housekeeping supervisors and room attendants   
• Motivate, train, and supervise all Housekeeping colleagues
• Ensure that all relevant FHLSS standards are in place and followed
• Execute projects such as preventive maintenance, inventories, and productivity studies
• Review regularly Standard Operating Procedures, and Processes in order to guarantee effective and efficient service as per Mandarin Oriental Standards
• Conduct daily meetings with Supervisors and Housekeeping colleagues
• Maintain an ongoing Safe & Sound program
• Ensure that all MOQA, LQE, QTA standards are in place at all times
• Schedule, monitor and ensure completion of deep cleaning programs and assign tasks to housekeeping colleagues

As Guest Relations Agent, we expect from you

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
• A minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience on a supervisory/managerial level
• Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is beneficial
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
