About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the F&B Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Assistant In Room Dining Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational and financial aspects of the In Room Dining operation. The Assistant In Room Dining Manager reports to the In Room Dining Manager.

As Assistant In Room Dining Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

• Operational & Financial Responsibility: Oversees business performance, profitability, and efficiency while maintaining high standards in service, food, and safety.
• Team & Culture Support: Actively contributes to Mandarin Oriental team culture, vision, and values while managing staff development and training.
• Daily Management & Organisation: Handles shift patterns, daily meetings, timekeeping, and other operational tasks to ensure smooth service.
• Sales & Profitability Planning: Analyses sales, sets budgets, prepares reports, and develops strategies to enhance revenue.
• Guest Experience & Service Standards: Ensures exceptional service, up-selling strategies, and personalised guest experiences.
• Problem-Solving & Compliance: Manages guest complaints, maintains equipment, ensures training, and adheres to Mandarin Oriental standards.

As Assistant In Room Dining Manager, we expect from you: 

• EU passport or Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
• Previous relevant management experience within the luxury hospitality.
• Fluency in English. Greek or any other additional language will be considered as a plus.
• Strong overall computer literacy, not limited to MS Office.
