El propósito de esta posición es garantizar el funcionamiento óptimo de toda la infraestructura tecnológica del hotel. Asimismo, actuará como responsable del departamento en ausencia del IT Manager.
Operativa diaria
Atender incidencias fuera del horario laboral cuando sea necesario.
Escalar situaciones relevantes al Regional VP IT & T cuando proceda.
Asistir a reuniones diarias con el Director de IT.
Cumplir las políticas de salud, higiene y seguridad establecidas por MOHG y la legislación vigente.
Reportar cualquier incidencia técnica o estructural según los procedimientos del hotel.
Participar en formaciones obligatorias, incluido el entrenamiento contra incendios.

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel IT infrastructure and systems. The Assistant IT Manager will act as the department lead during the absence of the IT Manager.
Provides Hotel Guests and Colleagues with 1st line technical support.
Executes the published escalation procedure to provide 24-hour support to the hotel guest and staff.
Installs, upgrades and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and files services.
Upgrades network hardware and software components as required.
Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
Follows daily, weekly and monthly security procedures and save evidences to follow internal policies and support audits.
Review and patch vulnerabilities
Assembles and configures network components and associated services.
Installs and tests necessary software and hardware.
Establishes network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed.
Performs user adds/moves/changes/deletions.
Responds to needs and questions of users concerning their access of network resources
Checking daily backups, all system interfaces, Server hardware and logs.
Install, configure and maintain computer hardware and software
Ensures technology assets are secured.
Assists in disaster recovery and business continuity as it relates to technology.
Documenting, archiving all correspondence and troubleshooting, follow up suppliers’ visits and maintenance.
Installs, monitors, and maintains telecommunications equipment including cabling and providing technical guidance as needed.
Supports Telephony Infrastructure IP PBX and company Mobile Apple devices.
Troubleshoots high-speed Internet access problems
Maintain asset register for all IT assets
Must be able to operate independently
Other duties as assigned
Carry out any other reasonable request as directed by the IT Director
Handle after‑hours support calls when required.
Escalate relevant issues to the Regional VP IT & T when appropriate.
Attend daily meetings with the IT Manager and weekly event management meetings.
Comply with all MOHG health, hygiene and safety policies and local regulations.
Report any defects or technical issues according to hotel procedures.
Participate in mandatory training, including fire safety training.
