About the job

The Assistant Manager (Ember Beach Club) is responsible to supports the overall operations of the beach club, ensuring an exceptional guest experience through smooth service coordination, team supervision, and daily operational excellence. The role involves overseeing guest service, managing events, coordinating with the kitchen and bar teams, and ensuring the brand’s lifestyle and luxury standards are upheld at all times.

As Assistant Manager (Ember Beach Club), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and personalized service throughout their visit.
• Act as the main point of contact for VIP guests, resolving complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor service quality and ambiance to match the beach club’s premium lifestyle positioning.
• Oversee the floor, beach area and poolside service to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Supervise setup and breakdown of service stations and event spaces.
• Support the Ember Beach Club Manager in shift planning, opening/closing procedures, and stock management.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver consistent 5-star service.
• Support performance reviews and assist in developing team members' product knowledge and guest interaction skills.
• Ensure grooming, appearance, and behavior of team members meet brand standards.
• Coordinate with Sales and Events teams on private functions, parties, and special guest arrangements.
• Assist in managing logistics for live DJs, performances, beach parties, and food & beverage promotions.
• Ensure all safety and hygiene protocols are followed in accordance with local regulations and brand standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Assist with daily sales reports, cost control, and operational budgets.
• Monitor stock levels of beverages, linens, and other supplies, coordinate with procurement or storeroom.
• Prevent wastage and support profit-maximization strategies.

As Assistant Manager (Ember Beach Club), we expect from you: 

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication in English (other languages an advantage).
• Energetic, hands-on, and guest-focused with a can-do attitude.
• Familiarity with POS systems, reservations platforms, and F&B systems.
• Experience in luxury, lifestyle, or resort settings is a strong advantage.
• 2–4 years’ experience in F&B service, beach club, or lifestyle venue, supervisory experience preferred.
