Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead our Taiko Team.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager at Taiko restaurant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ensuring service standards and exceptional quality is always delivered to our guests;
• Managing, supervising and motivating the restaurant and lounge team;
• Supporting with management tasks, including product ordering and management of hours and rotas;
• Driving results through upselling, active sales and cost-efficient work.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager we expect from you: 

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position in luxury restaurant or hotel;
• Excellent verbal knowledge of the English language (Dutch is a plus);
• Passionate in customer service and hospitality industry;
• Ability to work mornings evenings, weekend shifts and holidays;
• Eye for detail, drive to success and a supportive attitude;
• A strong sense of responsibility: always follows up, is accurate and knows how to deliver exceptional and personalised service.
