About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Pool and Fitness Centre in Hong Kong, the Lifeguard is responsible for the safety, cleanliness, and general maintenance of the Swimming Pool in line with the company standards. The Lifeguard reports to the Spa Operations Manager.

As Lifeguard, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Create a safe environment for guests using the pool and fitness facilities
• Act as the Professional Rescuer in the event of an emergency
• Keep work area clean and neat at all times
• To ensure that a high standard of service is maintained
• Assist in the operations of all spa and fitness areas
• To maintain inventory of supplies for the operation of the Swimming Pool.

As Lifeguard, we expect from you:

• Diploma graduate in Hospitality or related disciplines
• A minimum of 1 year relevant experience
• Good communication in both Chinese and English
• With valid lifeguard and first aid license.
