About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the F&B Department, the In Room Dining Chef de Rang in in charge of the following duties:
Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering impeccable, high-standard room service
Carry out service duties, including setup, order follow-up, and timely deliver
Clear and reset tables/trays as needed
Listen to guests, offer advice, and take orders with professionalism and care
Supervise and support commis de rang (junior waitstaff)
Ensure that service is smooth, refined, and aligned with luxury hospitality expectations
As In Room Dining Chef de Rang, we expect from you:
You have a 2 years experience in a similar position within the upscale hospitality sector.
Your interpersonal skills, active listening, and enthusiasm are true assets for this role.
Fluency in English and French is required, along with a third language.
Knowledge of Opera (PMS) is preferred.
