Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino is looking for a Commis de Cuisine to join our Culinary team, for season 2025.

The beachfront resort comprises of 99 suites and villas, all with outdoor terraces and sea views, along with seven restaurants and bars.

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Culinary Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Commis de Cuisine is responsible to carry out kitchen duties whilst ensuring smooth, coordinated team effort in the kitchen. The Commis de Cuisine reports to the Junior Sous Chef.

As Commis de Cuisine, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Report operational issues to the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
  • Attend all training sessions and participate in special events, promotions, and demonstrations.
  • Maintain a clean, presentable uniform and ensure personal hygiene.
  • Observe, test, and handle food according to health and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor raw food availability, place orders, and inspect incoming goods.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

As Commis de Cuisine, we expect from you: 

  • EU Passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
  • 1 year of culinary experience.
  • Fluency in English. 
  • Ability to be flexible regarding shifts.
