AsCulinary Coordinator you will be responsible for the following duties:
Coordination of Duty and Shift Planning Creation and maintenance of staff rosters for kitchen personnel in coordination with the Executive Chef. Includes hour tracking and approval, roster adjustments, etc.
Support in Purchasing and Inventory Management Managing and submitting orders, coordinating delivery dates, performing goods receipt checks, and maintaining stock levels — partly in collaboration with Purchasing
Management of Recipes and Cost Calculations Documentation and maintenance of standard recipes, portion sizes, cost calculations, and food cost data.
Coordination Between Kitchen Management, Finance, P&C, and General Management Handling questions related to time tracking, vacation planning, and other administrative coordination matters.
Support in Audits and Hygiene Standards Documenting and monitoring HACCP standards, internal audits, training sessions, and hygiene protocols.
Organising Meetings & Briefings Preparation and follow-up for departmental meetings, including presentation creation and meeting minutes for Culinary Team briefings.
Administrative Support for All Head Chefs with Focus on the Executive Chef Scheduling, guest chef planning, correspondence, and document management on behalf of the kitchen leadership.
Documentation and Organisation of Staff Trainings Managing training records and assisting with the planning of internal training programs and onboarding processes.
Support for Events and Special Promotions Organising and coordinating menu planning, promotions, pop-ups, or events from an administrative standpoint. Attending BEO meetings, organizing BEO printouts to ensure kitchen leadership is always up to date.
All Other Administrative Tasks as Deemed Necessary by the Head Chefs.
This may include hands-on kitchen exposure to better understand and support day-to-day operations.
As Culinary Coordinator we expect from you:
Training in the culinary or hotel management sector, with at least 2 years of professional experience in the area of responsibility.
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure - your position includes weekend and public holidays
Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, reliability and enthusiasm for gastronomy
High level of commitment and quality awareness
Excellent English proficiency, both spoken and written. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
Successful applicants must have the right to work in The Netherlands
