The Regional Performance Marketing Intern will support the digital marketing team in the execution and monitoring of performance marketing campaigns for the Group’s European hotels, helping to drive both room and ancillary revenue via the brand website, MandarinOriental.com, and auxiliary platforms.
This role will provide hands-on experience in campaign management, reporting, and competitive research, while offering exposure to how digital activities are aligned with overarching strategy and adapted for local market nuances. The intern will gain insight into how performance marketing drives demand, attracts new customers, and supports Group revenue growth.
As a Regional Performance Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for:
Assist in the activation of European hotel performance marketing initiatives to drive traffic and revenue through MO.com.
Support with campaign reporting and data analysis, helping track KPIs, and budget pacing.
Provide general support to the Regional Digital Marketing team on ad hoc projects.
Conduct competitive and market research to identify trends, customer behaviours, and opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on campaign execution and deliverables.
Help prepare performance marketing presentations, reports, and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Strong interest in digital marketing, with awareness of paid media channels such as search, social, display, and programmatic.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Analytical mindset with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other office management software.
Proactive, eager to learn, and curious about performance marketing.
Proactive and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in handling documents and reports.
A problem-solver with a resourceful approach to tasks.
Team-oriented and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills.
Adaptable and flexible, capable of managing ad hoc responsibilities and working in a fast-paced environment.
Trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
