To ensure the hotel receives regular exposure in local and international media through print, radio, and television.
To liaise with overseas Public Relations consulting firms and the MOHG Corporate Communications Director.
To maintain regular contact with local media and keep up to date contact lists.
To encourage and create regular press release material highlighting new services, special promotions, and the Unique Selling Propositions of hotel.
To act as hotel spokesperson where appropriate.
To take responsibility for handling crisis communications component of crisis management.
To oversee budget reconciliation of MOHG International Advertising Funds and monitor the international plan.
To implement the hotel's annual local advertising plan and coordinate with the advertising agency on all matters related to creative and media planning.
To translate the requirements of the hotel (F&B, Rooms) into a comprehensive and specific advertising brief for the agency.
To plan, organize and oversee all photography sessions for the hotel (including major collateral photography, F&B shots, and press release photos.
To ensure filing systems and photographic library are maintained in good order.
To organize photography for VIP visits, exhibitions, and social functions.
To control inventory and stock of all collateral, (hotel and MOHG central mail-house/PMS).
To ensure adherence to MOHG CID guidelines for alt promotional material and advertising.
To liaise with F&B and marketing departments to coordinate all hotel promotions and marketing drives.
To ensure all collaterals, advertising and press releases are printed and issued in time to secure coverage.
To maintain frequent contacts with guests and clients through direct marketing activities.
To develop an overall direct marketing plan on an annual basis.
To establish, maintain and expand the hotel's database.
Together with other task force members, to oversee and implement marketing issues of the Guest Recognition Program.
To prepare annual expenditure proposal for all advertising and promotional activities.
To forecast and allocate the approved budget as per ongoing activities monthly.
To control all expenditure to be in line with the hotel’s business activities.
To greet celebrities and overseas press and offer assistance as required throughout their stay.
To attend the General Manager's cocktail receptions, annual parties and other social functions.
To prepare the Marketing Plan, together with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
