About the job

We are looking for a guest-centric Director of Rooms who will drive the Rooms Division Business Strategy, ensuring successful leadership and encouragement of the Front of House and Housekeeping teams in order to meet and exceed our guest expectations, enhancing our reputation for excellence. They provide functional assistance and direction to the Rooms operation.

As Director of Rooms, you will responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee all aspects of the Rooms Division, including arrivals, departures, room allocations, and VIP amenities, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction by handling feedback and resolving issues promptly.
  • Lead and develop a motivated team through training, coaching, and performance management, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
  • Manage budgets for Rooms Division, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities to optimize revenue without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and proactive communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing service audits, guest feedback, and operational reports, and implementing action plans.
  • Participate in strategic decisions as part of the Executive Committee and contribute to projects impacting the entire hotel.

As Director of Rooms we expect from you: 

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Rooms Division or Front Office in luxury hotels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and guest service operations.
  • Financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
  • Familiarity with health & safety standards and SOP implementation.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
