Duties and responsibilities:
Review all rebates and allowances to ensure that they are properly authorized, and report any deviations from the resort’s policies and procedures
Collect all checks on a daily basis
Verify Office Check and fill dedicated report accurately on a daily basis
Ensure all back-up data is accurately and efficiently filed, in order to be able to trace the source of all postings
Collect signatures from the Department Heads within 5 business days, if they are missing in Officer Checks
Maintain a balance sheet that tracks all incoming funds
Work alongside with General Cashier to check all float totals regularly and keep control on the outlets’ registers
Reconcile the balance sheet with the receipts to ensure that all the transactions are accounted for
Prepare income statements for their presentation to management
Lead an investigation when discrepancies are discovered
Audit daily collection of the General Cashier’s Summary against the bank in slip
Audit and reconcile advance payments and ensure payments have been applied
Perform various special projects as requested and assigned by management
Discharge the duties in an effective and efficient manner
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Previous experience in the hospitality industry
Good communication and customer-contact skills
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
Open-minded characteristics
Problem-solving and teamwork skills
Good English knowledge
