About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the Finance Department, the General Accountant reports to the Credit Manager.
As General Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Verifying daily cash registers
Reconciling cash / foreign currencies / checks / credit cards
Counting petty cash
Preparing bank deposits (via Brink’s)
Accounts receivable: checking and sending invoices, following up with debtors, monitoring the customer balance
Ensuring the control and follow-up of travel agency commissions
Participating in the implementation of procedures related to accounts receivable/payable
Recording payments and monitoring advance payments
Receiving and processing supplier invoices via the digital invoicing tool
Entering and checking expense reports
As General Accountant we expect from you:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Fluency in both French and English is required
