About the job  

The Group Operational Risk Manager (GORM) supports the Group Director and Senior Operational Risk Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Group’s Security, Safety, Business Continuity Management (BCM) systems, with a strong focus on digital innovation, system design, and project development. The role is based in Hong Kong and covers global operations.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

System & Design


Collaborate with Technical Services on security system design for new builds, renovations, and rebranding.
 

Oversee Access Control, CCTV, Security Control Rooms, and Fire Command Centres.
 

Implement and maintain security innovations and digital platforms (e.g., GSIICS, CENTRAL/MONET).
 

Guide hotel security teams on system implementation and compliance.

Development & Projects
 

Lead digitalisation initiatives to streamline operational risk and security processes.
 

Develop and enhance BCM and crisis management materials.

Support pre-opening and rebranding projects with security planning and training.
 

Liaise with external consultants, law enforcement, and internal departments.

Administration & Support
 

Maintain and update security manuals, training materials, and knowledge platforms.
 

Monitor incident reporting systems and ensure data integrity.

Generate reports, manage audits, and support budget planning.


Key Relationships
 

Internal: Technical Services, Finance, Legal, IT, F&B, Spa

External: Consultants, Contractors, Local Authorities, Trackforce


Success Profile

Strong customer focus, results-driven, and process-oriented.

Skilled in problem-solving, communication, and team leadership.

High integrity, humility, and composure under pressure.

Effective time and project management.
 

Mandatory Requirements:

5+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk, or project development.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Fluent in English and Chinese.

Experience in hospitality or large-scale organizations.

Understanding of security systems and compliance.


Desirable:

Background in compliance, development, or operational risk.

High execution capability and creative thinking.
