About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Guest Experience Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Guest Experience Ambassador is responsible for creating a friendly, welcoming environment while consistently providing exceptional services to all guests and completes other responsibilities that will enhance the guest’s experience. The Guest Experience Ambassador reports to the Guest Experience Supervisor.

As Guest Experience Ambassador, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

• Greets guests warmly, provides information about facilities, and ensures they feel welcome.
• Prepares necessary tools, uses tablets and reports for effective communication.
• Observes guests, anticipates needs, and makes courtesy calls to enhance their experience.
• Directs guests, answers questions, and escalates concerns to the Guest Experience Assistant Manager when needed.
• Ensures smooth handovers between shifts, maintaining continuity in guest preferences and service.
• Maintains a positive attitude and provides courteous service at all times.

As Guest Experience Ambassador, we expect from you: 

• EU Passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel/resort.
• Degree in Hospitality Management will be considered as a plus.
• Fluency in English. Greek or any other additional language will be considered as a plus.
• Strong overall computer literacy, not limited to MS Office.
• Prior experience in opening a luxury hotel environment will be taken into consideration.
• Availability to work in rolling shifts, as well as on weekends and bank holidays.
