Duties and Responsibilities

  • To serve guests according to the hotel standards.
  • To be equipped with hotel, Front Office and housekeeping information.
  • To be equipped with Macau culture and information about tourism attractions.
  • To be familiar with fire procedure.
  • To replenish supplies which are used to delight the guests.
  • To periodically check VIP guestroom.
  • To ensure the maximum efficiency of performance from all subordinates.
  • To train subordinates how to keep high standards.
  • To inspect guestrooms to ensure that they reach the standard.
  • To communicate with guests.
  • To report and prepare handovers.
  • To be responsible for the behavior and appearance of subordinates.

Guest Experience

  • To follow up pending matters, guest comments and complaints from previous shift on duty by carefully read through daily logbook.
  • To check the arrival report to prepare and check all necessary arrangements to take place prior to guest arrival.
  • To ensure all VIP amenities are already in place and check all in-room facilities are in good order.
  • To ensure to review all relevant reservation documents prior to arrival.
  • To escort all VIP guests to the room upon arrival. In case of unable to attend upon arrival, attempt to reach guest before checking out or send letter.
  • To assist and coordinate group check-in with Guest Services Agent.
  • To check the departure report to prepare time-schedule for farewell guests.
  • To handle rooms, dining, sightseeing, air tickets and spa reservation in coordinating with Concierge.
  • To handle courier services in coordinating with Concierge.
  • To take care sick guest.
  • To closely coordinate and assist Director of Front Office with VIP guest related arrangements.
  • To order daily newspaper for VIP guests (if required).
  • To handle room/suits inspection.
  • To stand by at lobby lounge to provide hotel information and offer escorting guests.
  • Lead the team to execute the guest recognition program effectively. Ensure the growth of enrolment of Fans of M.O. and Trust You score.
  • To reply to incoming enquiries by e-mail

Information Security

  • Identify and regularly review the classification levels of all your information with your department.
  • Ensure that the information and information security equipment assets under your control are secured as effectively as practically possible to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information assets.
  • Authorize user access to information under your control and remove access when it is no longer required.
  • Communicate access control requirements to Information Security management and the information users.
  • Monitor Information Policy compliance within your scope of authority.
  • Detect and report Information Security incidents to the Information Security Officer and respond to any incidents that are reported.
  • Safeguard the security of the company's information and computing assets and comply with the implemented Information Security Policy and all practices and supporting procedures designed in accordance with the policy.
  • Ensure accountability for your actions and recognize that any unauthorized deviation from the information security policy may result in disciplinary action including termination of employment and prosecution under the applicable Macau law.
