About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Concierge Department in Singapore, the Guest Services Assistant is responsible in assisting guests with luggage handling, deliveries, errands, flag duties, and lobby services to ensure smooth arrivals and departures while maintaining excellent guest service and standards. The Guest Services Assistant reports to the Chef Concierge.
As Guest Services Assistant (Doorman / Bellman), you will be responsible for the following duties:
Handle guests' luggage on arrivals, departures and storage
Do internal dispatch of mails / faxes / items
Collect delivered items from Security/ Purchasing Department
Perform packing service of guests' items
Hoisting/Lowering of flags when necessary daily
Control the canopy lights at the driveway daily & as and when necessary
Do outside errands / taking of guests to destinations (eg clinic /shops etc)
Assist guests with luggage while at the lobby
Opening of doors at the lobby / assist with the elevators
