About The Role

As Host/ess at El Jardín del Ritz, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, welcome guests with professionalism and charm, and coordinate closely with the service team to ensure smooth operations and impeccable guest flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm, courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating plans, optimising table allocation and guest flow.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus according to service standards.
• Coordinate closely with the restaurant management, kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless service.
• Handle guest enquiries and special requests efficiently and with discretion.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception and waiting areas.
• Uphold brand standards, grooming and service etiquette at all times.

What We Expect From You

• Previous experience as Host/ess or in a guest-facing role, ideally within luxury hospitality or high-end restaurants.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to remain calm, organised and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and guest needs.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
